MIZO (Hamza Ait mekideche): visual artist

Born and raised in Algiers, my love for visual arts started during my childhood, when i was attracted to magazines, books and films. In 2003 I studied photography and design in Algiers and started working for press after my graduation. My love for beauty and creativity made me open my own studio dedicated to art, fashion photography, and illustration. Two years later, my first collective exhibition took place in 2005 and my first solo, called “Honneur à la Femme” in 2008. In 2010 I expanded my horizons making my first video. Not only, I work with other artists of the industry, but also with models, actors, hair and makeup artists and designers. I have worked and i still work for agencies, magazines and art editors.
